We use a phonics based method which has been featured prominently on TV and in UK newspapers. The method has a 98% success rate. One course is all that is usually required - usually consisting of approximately 12 hourly lessons over a 12 week period. Many parents choose to carry on lessons for their children once they see the noticeable improvements.
We will not teach any child unless it has been determined that the programme is right for the child. It is important that the child's ability is determined so that the course can commence at the correct stage and the lessons can be conducted at the correct pace.
Lessons are between 30 - 60 minutes depending on the child. Every child is different and our approach may change depending on your child's ability, age and concentration. We can also add extra dimensions to lessons such as comprehension if required.
"According to Government statistics, a fifth of youngsters leaving primary school can't read and write properly. That means they have not reached the benchmark reading age of an 11-year-old and are unlikely to be able to follow lessons when they go to secondary school."
